First, you would draw a sort of parallelogram shape, the point on the bottom should be pointed towards the nose, depending on which side you would draw the eye. (this tutorial is for the left eye, but could be applied to either.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Second, you would draw the iris of the eye somewhere where you want the character to look, for this example, the character is looking to the right. In this step I am also rounding out and softening the parallelogram. (defining the main shape)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

third, I’m going to be adding the eye creases on the top and bottom, like the eye bag and the top eye crease. I’m also adding the eyelashes which go in the closest outer corner of the eye if that makes sense?? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

That’s more of a realistic eye, now ill show you a more simplistic way of how I actually draw it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next step, you don’t even have to soften the shape, but i fill in the iris. with usually all black. also add the creases!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
